Congratulations to Dr. Iris Broce who completed her honors thesis in the Department of Psychology in 2011 under the supervision of Drs. Margaret Friend at SDSU and Leslie Carver at UCSD. Following years of hard work at Florida International University with Dr. Anthony Dick, she has secured a postdoctoral position at UC San Francisco. She plans to combine neuroimaging, genetics, and computational methods to study mechanisms underlying neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases. Iris has shown passion and talent for science throughout her years as a student. We can’t wait to see what she does next!
