Those students whose tuition are paid by SDSU will be provided healthcare through SDSU's campus Health Services or given a sum of $2,000 to purchase their own policy. Those whose tuition are paid by UCSD will receive the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) through UCSD. |
LOANS/GRANTS |
Graduate student loans are availabe to students who are U.S. citizens through the SDSU Financial Aid Office, to a maximum of $8,500 annually. Graduate grants, fellowships, and scholarships are also available through such sources as APA, APS, NSF, and others. Minority studetns often have special funding sources available to them, which they are encouraged to investigate through the Financial Aid Office. Students interested in financial aid should submit an application to the Financial Aid Office by May of the year in which they wish to obtain funding. |
