Psychology Minor

(For students declaring their minor Fall 2010 or later)

 

Depending on the track you have chosen for your minor, you will be required to take 18-21 units.

There are three minor tracks available:

COGNITIVE AND BEHAVIORAL NEUROSCIENCE (18 units) (Code: 778334)

PERSONALITY AND SOCIAL (21 units) (Code: 778360)

_____ Psy 211 or Psy 260                   _____ Psy 350              _____ Psy 351

Complete any 3 units of upper division Psychology (Any Psychology class numbered 300 or above)

Things to Remember:

  1. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA or better.
  2. Upper division courses in the minor may not be counted toward your major.
  3. Lower division Psychology courses may be used to satisfy the minor, preparation for your major, and general education requirements if applicable.
  4. Upper division Psychology courses may be used to satisfy the minor and GE Explorations, if applicable
  5. To satisfy general education and minor requirements, courses must be taken for a letter grade.
  6. A minimum of six upper division units must be completed in residence at San Diego State University.
