Jennie Kuckertz, a student in the Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology, won third place at the UCSD Grad SLAM. Grad SLAM a competitive speaking event that features graduate students presenting their research using three PowerPoint slides in three minutes. The presentation must be understood by a general audience. The presenters compete for prizes ranging from $100.00-$2,500. This year the winner will have the opportunity to compete in the first-ever UC system-wide Grad SLAM competition in Northern California.
