Timothy Little, a psychology major, was presented with the regional research award and a $300 check at the WPA Conference in Portland, Oregon.  His poster was entitled, “Education, Health Care Experience, and Health Care Advocates.”

Mr. Little is a junior at SDSU and a transfer from Mesa College. He  joined Dr. Thereasa Cronan’s health and community research lab shortly after being admitted to SDSU.  His past work includes experience in the health field and as a firefighter/medic. In Dr. Cronan’s lab, he is studying the variables that effect the influences of hiring a health care advocate.  Specifically, education level and prior health care experience.

Congratulations Timothy on your award!
